My USP is that I enjoy taking a comprehensive brief and try to use the existing space to its best potential. This often involves a clever reconfiguration and minimal building work.
My work has been described a taking a dysfunctional space and making it more efficient, with added beauty and harmony.
My Approach
I create meaningful spaces for you that are well considered and implemented with minimum disruption.
My passion for nature ensures that I will prioritise specifying sustainable solutions to your design problems. This includes using my skills to reconfigure the existing space rather than add an extension straight away or build anew.
I have a library of curated and eco-friendly well-designed fixtures, finishes and fittings and use locally sourced materials wherever possible. This connection to planet and place is deeply respectful to the user of the space and creates a unique design at no extra cost. One size does not fit all!
My Background
l have worked on interior spaces for British Airways, Capital Radio and Kimberley Clark among others. I have always liked working with commercial clients and have often got involved with incorporating their new branding into their workspaces.
This background in design for commercial and public spaces has given me a great list of subcontractors that I enjoy working with.
When asked I have also worked with several private clients on their homes and can tailor my skills to either. Just over 10 years ago I refreshed my knowledge of the subject by studying for and completing a MA in Design.
